Bill Simmons

Bill Simmons is a retired lawyer who has been involved in end-of-life issues for over 15 years. His website, www.finalexodus.org, is a great “go-to” place to quickly learn about the medical-aid-in dying laws, the importance of family conversations, and the conundrum of dementia. His form of advance directive, which can be found there, is unique in that it is brief yet goes beyond the usual choices. He gives a three-lecture series, Life’s Sunset, Plan Before the Sun Goes Down, around San Diego: at OASIS, retirement communities, libraries, and universities.
